Why a Dental Diet for dogs?

Dental problems impact overall health of dogs, tooth loss, severe pain, difficulty eating, and groomin and systemic infections that affect heart, kidneys and liver.

80% of dogs over the age of three suffer from some form of dental disease.

Gum health can be supported by nutrition, collagen peptides can help to regenerate gum tissue and reduce inflamation, in studies dogs given collagen tripeptides (ctp) showed significant improvements in gingival microcirculation ( the flow of blood in the gums), reduced capillary inflamation and an increased ratio of collagen to inflamed tissue, indiacting healthier gum function and improved tissue repair.

Bad breath in dogs is often a sign of plaque build up, oral disease and bacterial imbalance.

These issues can lead to more serious problems like peridontgal disease, ( a disease that damages tissues supporting bones). Supporting a health oral microbiome through targeted nutrition and prebiotics help reduce harmful bacteria, prevent dental disease and keep your dogs breath naturally fresh.

Reversing Early Tooth Decay.

Nutritional interventio using bioactive peptides can help remineralise enamel, reversing early stage dental decay. These peptides help rebuild enamel by supporting hydroxyapatitre formation ( the main structure component of tooth enamel), rstoring minerals and strenghtening teeth before decay progresses.

Plaque Defence (TM) is a multifuntional blend of 5 ingredients which promotes optimal oral health, the ingredients work together to reduce plaque, inhibit bacterial growth, prevent tartar, and provide relief from inflamation.

Additionally Peptide dental care is formulated with pre-biotics to support fresher breath and a healthy oral microbiome
